You can't use acrylics, they'll just dissolve in the water and nitro might be too thin.
TjaHi!
I intend to do a swirl paint of a universe body I have (totally naked basswood, freshly CNCd). I've bought a set of magic marble paints (PAW theme) and I've tried to read up on primers/clear coats and what-not but I'm none the wiser. I see polyurethane being recommended often for this type of project but the problem is that polyurethane paints are impossible to source here in Sweden (not sure if they are deemed too "hazardous" or something like that). The only thing I can find is acrylic paints and nitrocellulose ones. Does anyone have experience with using magic marble and other non-polyurethane primers and clear coats? I'm sure everything will just fail in the end but at least I would like to give it a serious attempt - I just want the paints/coats to be compatible and not fall off in the end.
Thanks man!Epic man!!! They look great. Please keep us posted once they are finished and assembled.
Thank you!The red one is cool !
Cheers !
