Hi all,

I have a new member to the household as of today, a georgous Marshall Stack, my first ever stack, even though it is pracise amp size. What a wicked sound.

The serial number is X16405 and it is a Lead 12. So I know the X Date Code means she is a 1989 but I need help to interpret the Serial Number 16405.

What else can you tell me about her? Do they still make them etc.

Thanks!

Cheers
Tania

Does it sound good?

I'd heard that they weren't that good, but I haven't heard one myself

I thought they are bit expensive compared an MG15 which I think are basically the same thing.

Although a mini stack at home is a bit morepractical than the real thing

Thanks All,

Happy to tell you that I spent quiet some time playing it yesterday and the sound is wicked. With our without pedals too. I have a 1967 100w Super Tremolo Head and Quad and I can honestly say this little stack pumps out an awesome sound and volume. Im hard to please, and this stack gave me goosebumps for a mini stack. If you ever get the chance, make sure you try one out.

Red5, definately worth plugging into and yes looks great too. Cute but awesome, for a woman as I, cute is okay.

So all.... still after some info on interpreting the serial number please etc etc.

Cheers All,

Tania
