What's up guys, so I have this RG270 I got for $110 last year, Picked it up in Colorado. Originally I was going to put the neck on a yellow body, but when I got it I saw the finish was actually fairly decent and the whole fret board had signs of a re-fret I decided to leave it alone. Weird but it's pretty clean for 1997, it plays quite well with low action, no buzzing virtually anywhere. So I installed a favorite pickup of mine and it kind of has thisTele/RG vibe with the single volume...kind of cool. Think it was that weird teal metallic color..
So I was wondering, who did this? I almost have to think someone on here had the idea to make this a LNG look alike. Are you out there? Lol

Anyways I wanted to touch up some of the paint, so also if anyone thinks this might be the dayglo green paint, let me know. Otherwise opinions etc. Sleeve Camera lens Wood Cameras & optics Reflex camera

Love the color. Really when it comes to RGs the only difference between the non-fujis are the trems & pups. Upgrade those & it's a beastly guitar.
Thanks, yeah it is also UV active. Indeed though I have a lot of Korean RG's. most slightly modded.
For any one that was concerned this guitar has a LO-TRS2 it has been blocked; pretty sure the PO had a FR and took it out before selling to me. This is my "punk Rock" guitar anyway

Also I play 80% rhythm, and more melodic based solos. Don't really shred. Sorry guys, if Ibanez made more bright neon guitars with maple boards and fixed bridges thats what I would get. I do have 2 550's to make up for the trem needs. But I do love the Wizard 2 despite the sleek feel of the wizard. Gotta shop around a bit though, some aren't so good.

I actually prefer the wizard 2 myself. I find it to be more comfortable, especially for PIA power chords.
Hmm, yeah I thought I was the only one. Every time I bring up the wizard 2 everyone says "ahh Korean garbage" "hurts my hand" "Only Original Wizard".
I never really understood this mentality, I love the OG Wizard and my Genesis has the Super Wizard, it also feels great with the extra width, but they've made it so flat that it's almost impractical for anything else but extended lead playing.
Personally it's just a radius and thickness profile, I think the wizard 2 is a lot more versatile, but I'd say if they gave it a flat radius it would be better than the OG wizard to me. Supposedly this is the OG JEM profile but I've never had a JEM.

I also have an RX which has a strat like neck profile and a Schecter Hellraiser that has closer to a Les Paul profile. I find them all practical but home is the 90s Wizard 2s and my OG Wizard. The SW is just new and sleek.
