Hello everyone. I first want to say, wow! I think I may have found the right place to look for advice concerning my Jem and my tough decision. A little about me, I recently started learning drums to get back into playing music and I played guitar years ago so I wanted to do something different. Now that I have some drum playing under my belt sorta speak I am contemplating on getting rid of my Jem that I worked hard to buy while in High School. It's a first year (87) SP Jem 777 with the disappearing pyramids. I love this guitar but I am looking to buy a decent drumset and thought to myself "I could sell my Jem, maybe?" It has sentimental value but I'm not getting younger so I guess its time. Anyone here have any tips as I prepare to sell it? It's pretty clean, neck may need a bit of cleaning and the pickups work. Is there anything else I should look at? Anything I should be aware of? I don't want to ask an obscene amount but I also don't want to get ripped off. Any tips would be appreciated.

Unsure what details I should be including but I will try.
All original parts nothing has been replaced.
Plate number is like 1457(not exactly sure but it's readable).
I have the original case.
It was setup for 9s (D'addario)
There is 1 minor ding on the front thanks to a band member.
Frets have some wear but not in need of replacing.
Bridge (Floyd Rose) and locknuts still hold the strings in tune very well.
Tuning knobs work excellent and are not loose.
When not in use it has always remained in the case not on a stand collecting dust.
I take it out now and then and give it some love and attention including wiping with a clean soft cloth.
I appreciate your feedback and hope I included enough details. I will take picture tomorrow when I can utilize natural light to help see the details.
