Hello there,
I have just bought a project Ibanez RG470 project body. Im wondering what kind of tremolos I can use on it that will fit perfectly? Its a jungle out there with all the pat trems. I dont wanna order a trem that will not fit.

Chances are it would have had a LoTRS or LoTRS II fitted as standard so ANY licensed Floyd should fit, if you're on a budget the Floyd Rose Special is ok, it has a decent baseplate which is what really matters for keeping stable tuning. Beware secondhand, there's a lot of junk out there.

Ok, I think I have done a bad business on this guitar. Cause I now saw it is a 27" scale to the neck instead of a 25,5 that Ibanez usually has on the RG models. I asume I can't use a 25,5" neck on this body then?
And yes I read about the trem aswell and it should fit a Edge Pro trem as well.
This project should be a kinda vintage fastplayers typical project with really good features on. So my intention is to only buy good stuff to it:).

Yeah bad luck for sure 😕. Yes It will never be correct intonated with a 25,5. Plus I was in the plans for an Ibanez maple neck for it, but thats not gonna happen now either... cause I dont think there is any maple 27" on the market.
Well well, next time I have to try find what I first was lookin for, a RG 550 pickguard body.. or atleast a RG450 pickguard body. So I can continue my project
