i have a fender american deluxe strat with a floating trem and when i use my trem my strings go a lil out of tune mostly my g string though, is there a way to fix this?

Make sure the strings aren't binding up a the nut. That's where most of the tuning problems are on non locking tremolo guitars. --Jason

what do u mean? and how can i fix it?

The way i understand it, if there's something catching the string at the nut (particularly if its a plastic nut) and you use the trem, it's going to mess up the string pitch. A simple fixer-upper is to get some lip balm, put a bit on the end of a toothpick and smear the wedges where the strings sit, just so there's a light coating. This way, the strings won't get caught as much and can slide like they're supposed to on a non-locking guitar.

ok thanks, also i know this happens with non-locking guitars, when i use the tremolo a lot my high e string breaks, which i've heard that the string hits against the trem unit and dents the string so it snaps finally.
