Hey guys,
I have an old RG270 that I feel like spicin' up a bit with some PGM f-holes. What I want (more like have) to do though, is relocate the volume pot. Now, I'm going to be stripping the whole guitar down so I could do some work to it. Before going and doing that I'm wondering if it's possible to fill the electronics cavity with a cut chunk of wood. Maybe use dowels to fill in the pot holes too? So that I would be able to glue the pieces in and re-rout the body for a single volume pot and a 3 way switch, placed so that they'll line up with the f-hole. Does this sound crazy? Thanks,
- Dalton
