Awesome thread, man. I remember seeing these on the rack at the local music shop, Zapf's Music in Pennsauken, NJ, as a teenager. I never really knew what their deal was back in the day, but they are definitely a high point in Ibanez history.

This graphic seems to have been pretty popular. Interesting that both guitars above have Ultra necks with their corresponding inlays.

Amazing thread, I have enjoyed reading your posts. This is very useful as there aren´t good threads on these guitars. Good work. Always loved the USCGs!

This does not appear to have been a popular graphic and I was unable to find good pictures of it. I'm hoping to get a better picture from the owner of the first guitar.

Hello, sorry if this bends any rules but this has been floating on the 'list for a few weeks and since this thread has been popular people here might want this. Looks like the Grave Situation as Takin' mentions above. H/S/S config. Please feel free to remove this post if you need to mods!

Wow! Thanks for posting that! I contacted the seller to see if he'll send me the full size pics.

Great thread! I'm honored to see my workbench at the top. I was going to sell that digital madness and now I'm not so sure...

Ran into a guitar player at the bar last night. Ibanez guy. And he says he has an old USA Custom "Loch Ness Monster". I said "No way. You have a Sea Monster?". Showed me a pic on his phone. Not perfect condition but who cares. It's a Sea Monster! That makes 2 that I am aware of.
