I recently acquired a 2008 UV, and sometime after buying I noticed some of the pyramid inlays have started to look.... off. Looks like the glue is overflowing from below the inlay.. Should I take this to a luthier to get fixed, or is this.. normal?!
Attaching pics for reference..

I don't really know what you have there to fix. The inlay work can sometimes look a little sloppy, as it is quite fiddly to do, and there can be some filling done around them.

If it makes you feel better mines a 2010 and has way more glue around the pyramids coming out than yours. I think temp/humidity changes will just do this over time. I bought mine new and IIRC there wasn't a trace of glue around the inlays when i first got it.

Whaaattt!!! So is the best way just to use a razorblade and steel wool? I'm in Florida so it is fairly hot and humid pretty much all the time, but for hardened glue to expand like this doesn't make sense to me.
