I recently ran across a nice UV7SBK and it is missing the original case. I've found a local guy that is selling an RG420 but surprisingly it has a nice case that looks like a UV1000C in the pictures. I have a couple of questions I wanted to ask.

-Was that UV1000c case in pink the same size as the burgundy? The body on the UV is probably slightly bigger than the JEM so not sure if these cases were the same size, my thoughts are that the cases probably are the same size but can accommodate both guitars. (Y/N)?

-This guy's case is the pink version, I think it might look kind of cool next to a murdered out, all black, silver dot.. but maybe not.. haha.

A UV1000 became standard in 1990 to have one case long enough to fit both JEM and UV, they're "standardized" but they're built by hand so there is slight variance to all of them. But the pink burgundy and maroon are all within 1/4" of each other.
