I have an RG3120DR and RG8527VV i'm thinking of selling for a custom guitar. any ideas of the market value for each of these. The 3120 is a 2001 with very minor flaws. maybe a couple small dents in the clear coat, but nothing through the clear. The 8527 is a 2003. about the same condition. very minor clear coat flaws. everythting else is perfect. any ideas?? Thanks guys.

I'd say the 3120 is usually in the $600-900 range. Usually I see them sell for around $700-800. As for the 8527, it's usually near the $1500-1800 mark.

The rg3120 is definitely within the $600-$900 range in that condition but the RG8527 is more like in the $1000-$1400 mark. I've seen some RG8527's used for as low as $800(in Japan of course) as a used RG8127 (which is actually an upgrade to the RG8527) fetches about $1500.

i need to sell at least one at first for a down payment on my custom shop jackson. i just don't knwo if i wanna chance it.. i had a marshall tsl601 go for $550 one time.. maybe that was the market value, but i wasn't thrilled about it, i figured i could sell it to some marshall junky for a little bit more than that. it was in perfect shape too
