Most people have seen Loop's virtual Jems, which in my opinion REALLY push the boundaries of what can be done with these instruments.

Well, it looks like someone comissioned a V-jem of their own.
I am having a spare neck built by Christopher Woods, and I decided to nose around and see what other people were having done.
Take a gander: http://homepage.mac.com/bigvelvetdog/artists/nicolas.html

Pretty cool seeing one of these come to life.
I'd love to see more pics, hopefully the owner is a jemsite member who'll share?

What's your secret? I asked him to build a neck for me, and he said he wasn't taking orders. Looked like he had decided to build necks and sell 'em on the 'Bay instead.

He's taking orders right now.
I think he to only takes a specific number of orders at a time to avoid being bombarded.
Most jobs are a 4 week build time, unless you're having him build you an entire guitar. He's doing a fully scalloped ebony 7 string board for my 7620.
I'm anxious to get that bad boy rolling too.

Damn! THANK YOU!!!!!

I just sent him an email with my proposed neck order (basically a cross between a Super Wizard (17-20mm w/Bubinga stripe) and a JEM7VWH (Ebony board, 4-fret scallop, pearl vine).

I hope he agrees to do it!
