Wanted:

My old UVMC signed by Steve Vai the night I opened for him on the Sex and Religion tour at Toad's Place in New Haven CT. Steve was going to cancel the show because his equipment was going to be shipped over seas to start the European leg of the tour. Toad's place contacted me knowing that I had similar equipment that Steve might be able to use. I met up with Steve in the afternoon and he went through all of my guitars and amps. It was the one of the greatest experiences of my life to be able to open for Steve and hang with him and the gang that day. Roger Bell (Steve's Tech) was a great guy too, it just happened to be his birthday that night too.

Here is a pic from the show. I am holding my pink jem that the entire band wrote all over.

Here are a couple of pics of the guitar:

Steve signed my 7-string Universe "Thanx-bro" for helping him out.
I sold this guitar on e-bay a few years back when I bought my house. I was hurting for cash and did such a stupid thing....I sold my UVMC to make a mortgage payment... Now I want to find it and attempt to buy it back. I believe the person that bought the guitar was from Pennsylvania.
It is a beautiful swirl and is signed on the back of the headstock

"Thanx Bro- Steve Vai"

Yes, I know I did a stupid thing in selling it but I was broke as a joke.

If anyone has seen it and knows the owner, please ask him if he is interested in selling it!!

I also had to sell my Green jem #771, it was in perfect condition...

My contact info and e-mail address is on my website
www.johnjbruno.com

I figured that this would be the best website to attempt to find the guitar!
Thank you so much!!

I know. And I was the one that bought your LNG, but you can forget about it being Mint. Tony Jackass Barrone bought it and like everything else he touched, destroyed it, and then sold it as MINT, like everything else he sold.

The guy that bought it resold it, been around the horn a few times since.

Damn, so sad to hear about the LNG Jem. That guitar was close to perfect.
That guitar was there that night too, but since it already was signed, I did not have Steve sign it again. Very sad to hear it is trashed.... It stayed under my bed for most of the time I had it with the plastic still on the pick guard.

I think I spotted it here in Houston the other day.
It is hanging on the wall at The Texas Music Emporium Phone: 281-233-0100.

It is in pretty good condition.
If it is the same guitar. Hope this helps.
I played it the other day.
