Wanted:
My old UVMC signed by Steve Vai the night I opened for him on the Sex and Religion tour at Toad's Place in New Haven CT. Steve was going to cancel the show because his equipment was going to be shipped over seas to start the European leg of the tour. Toad's place contacted me knowing that I had similar equipment that Steve might be able to use. I met up with Steve in the afternoon and he went through all of my guitars and amps. It was the one of the greatest experiences of my life to be able to open for Steve and hang with him and the gang that day. Roger Bell (Steve's Tech) was a great guy too, it just happened to be his birthday that night too.
Here is a pic from the show. I am holding my pink jem that the entire band wrote all over.

Steve signed my 7-string Universe "Thanx-bro" for helping him out.
I sold this guitar on e-bay a few years back when I bought my house. I was hurting for cash and did such a stupid thing....I sold my UVMC to make a mortgage payment... Now I want to find it and attempt to buy it back. I believe the person that bought the guitar was from Pennsylvania.
It is a beautiful swirl and is signed on the back of the headstock
"Thanx Bro- Steve Vai"
Yes, I know I did a stupid thing in selling it but I was broke as a joke.
If anyone has seen it and knows the owner, please ask him if he is interested in selling it!!
I also had to sell my Green jem #771, it was in perfect condition...
My contact info and e-mail address is on my website

I figured that this would be the best website to attempt to find the guitar!
Thank you so much!!
