This is on the main Ibanez USA page, but I can't figure out what model it is.

I like the body shape, but I'm not really looking for a semi-hollow body. Any info appreciated on this guitar or others that look like it.

It's a chinese made Artcore series Talman - TM71.

dont let the chines thing scare you too much the artcore series are great guitars for thier price and are actually nice quality.

Isn't it just like Ibanez to discontinue a guitar two years ago but yet feature it on the main guitar page on their site?

Did they make a solidbody version of this body shape? I can't dig up much info on it.

They used to but not anymore.
Talmans are great guitars - esp the 5xx and 6xx series.
