Just thrown this question out over on the Ibanez owners Facebook page but no harm in asking here too...
What year was the first RGR made?
I thought it was around 91 but I've just stumbled across the legendary Dann Huff playing one back in 1989...picture aint great but from watching the vid I can make out HSH pickups, scratchplate, maple neck, sharktooth inlays and the all important reverse headstock... I would assume its a LACS as they threw alot of guitars at US rock guitarists around that period?
