Should play just fine. Like maple fretboard fenders with a full layer of clear coat on them. Some people absolutely love those.

If the price were right, I'd be all over that like white on rice. And I'm not even a big fan of Jems.

It seems sad that you'd do it to such a fine looking guitar. One of those things that makes me stand up and go WHY?!
