Hi All,

New to the site and new to the guitar. I bought this at a local pawn shop.

I have spent a few days researching and realize I need an enthusiasts help.

Based on having 22 frets I am guessing it is an S series.

SER# F0709758SIN

F = manufactured by FujiGen Gakki in Nagano
YY = last two digits of year (e.g. 08=2008)
##### = consecutive production number for the year

F=Fujigen factory
07= year
09758 = February 09000–11999 = February

I found the Ibanez catalogs from 07 but my guitar does not look quite like them. Perhaps I have the wrong date range of production?

Also I have not been able to find anything regarding the SIN at the end of the serial #

My tremolo appears to be the Original Edge I think.

I am trying to find out exactly what I have in my hands Model, Year, which neck does it have, pickup style (i.e SSS) etc...

Any help from the many experts out there would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much!

I hope you didn't pay a lot for that. Im not sure why it says Jem Jr on the headstock, may be the angle but it does't look like an S body, I'd doubt it was made in Japan, I don't even think its an 07. It doesn't look genuine to me, but I could be wrong

That would be a pure counterfeit, one of the horrible ones. It's supposed to be a JS body, the only necks this terrible factory had were the ones with the JEM JR headstock logo. I've seen them before years ago before Ibanez' commitment to making models like the JEM3 virtually put an end to the counterfeiting explosion. It's still going on but it has slowed greatly.
