I've been searching for hours but can't find a hit: looking for a Wizard III neck on a Japan built Prestige with hard tail. I can find new models with the Super Wizard HP, but I want the Wizard III neck.

I'm thinking it must exist (and then I can find one used), but so far I can't find any way to get the specs on the different Ibanez models.

Anyone know of prestige hardtails with Wizard 3 necks?

I don't care if its rg or s.

Or do you know a way I can find this out?

thanks!

Thanks!! -- that would explain it. I guess I should change the question to what Wizard III necks are known to have good fret work from the factory. I'm hearing nightmares about recent models in the last 1-2 years. Probably should make a new post. Will check out that wiki.

I like the neck shape on a new Jem Jr. I played in GC, which is listed as Wizard III but wanted a higher end instrument. The rg450 is supposed to come crappy fretted from the factory, is what I heard. I wonder if the quality control is better on the Jem jr.
