I took the knobs off my 2008 JS1000 because they got in the way and I found these neat potentiometers under them. They're push/pull and the shaft that the knob tightens to is covered in plastic. They're almost like skinny knob in itself, so I put some sticky tape on the volume and it works great.
My only issue is that the zinc coated washer and nut look out of place.
I was hoping to buy black versions that would be less conspicuous.
Anyone know the size of this hardware?
