An RG4EX1FM and a JPM100....I own a 4ex1 and just ordered new pickups (tone zone/air norton). I removed the center single coil pickup and plugged the pocket with a cd like material that reflects like a prism. Aside from pickups, what other difference should I be aware of.

I kinda lost track of model designations, but im guessing your axe is korean (at best), and so, has an edge 3 or something, some noname tuners, not so great basswood with a veneer, and sharkfins.

The JPM is japanese, has a Lo Pro, Gotoh tuners, all american basswood, maple / bound rosewood with side dots, an almost unique neck profile (called the viper) thats thicker, rounder and (subjectively) more comfortable than wizards, direct mounted pickups and a nicer control layout with the coolest 3 way switch ever.

I think thats about it, pickups and paintjob aside
