For the longest time there had been an electric rainbow done by joes sister for sale on reverb for $12k, now it’s been on eBay for $14.5k forever... why isn’t anyone buying this? 1 of 20?? Has to be super Collectable! Seems a 3 or a 5 wouldn’t last one second for sale! Doesn’t look fake, sig n all looks legit... what’s up anyone know??

Rich doesnt want it, Joe doesnt want it...do you want it?.... :)

What do you do with a $12,000 JS?.... Hide it under the bed and try and sell it in 10 years for a MAYBE profit?

Theres a heap of JS's on Reverb/eBay etc that have been sitting over-priced for a long time.... Everyone likes to think their 'rare' JS is worth a fortune.... but at the end of the day, it's only worth what someone else is prepared to pay....looks like $12k isn't a price people are prepared to go with?

Out of curiosity, what would you pay for it?

He was offered 12.5 for it years ago which is why he's stuck on the number. It's human nature. I know another that turned down 15 for a Forest so he won't sell it for less than 18. JS4's are the least desirable of the 3, even in rare numbers. At some point someday it should be worth that but it's just not today.

I’ve seen a few ARTs sell for below what they were new, I guess it comes down to how long you can wait or how badly you need the cash huh!

You've said that before but I haven't. I've seen line drawings sell for full list and not fare so well, but never any good ones.

There's a couple on Facebook currently for sale, below list price, and still there, there was one on eBay last week, dunno if it's there now....

This is one from FB.... I was interested in the price he offered, but, shipping, customs made it too much

2's are a different animal, I don't know of any 2's selling over $8000, which was list and nobody paid.

Every 25th, first is an anniversary model, there are many less, and each is very unique except there are 2 circles graphic, all the rest are very individual. All the 2's are formulaic, that pattern was repeated 6 times [or 8] and just colored and filled in different. There's a set of blocks, eyeballs, etc. I organized them all on a page long ago, it's easy to see what I'm talking about. Find 2 25th's that mirror each other [besides the circles]

Touche. The problem with the MCB, they don't have cool colors painted on them.

No idea why that guitar flopped, it's my favorite out of ALL the muscle cars.

People are funny...no one will pay full price for a damaged Jem.... but a copy of Steve Vai's beaten up Jem well.....

Id hazzard a guess if the MCO had come out and Joe didn't use that colour, it would of been a hard sell..... White, Red, Purple, Orange, Chrome.... all the 24s have been on stage with him at some point..... where is the MCB love? :(

I don’t want it... I was just curious why a rare js4 has just been sitting on the market yet you look at IbanezRules Koch js collection and they all sold.. some at $17k I think.. but that was a Donnie! That’s my dream guitar .. Always has been since I saw it in the wall @ Daddy’s junky music 25 years ago for $1800. I was a kid, I was lucky to have $180. It was hanging right next to a universe that had an S on the back of the neck. Workers couldn’t figure out why it was a second ..
So they made
300 js3?
20 js4?
?? js5??
There’s a red js1 on reverb that says it’s 1 of 20..

I wonder what your proto JS4 would bring? ;) Outside of a particular donnie you have, that's the coolest graphic on a guitar I ever saw hands down.

Not sure if you arranged them this way on purpose but I think that the first two at the top are easily the best of the lot.

On special edition pricing, in general what's I've seen over the years, prices dip down for a period on a lot of things and then slowly rebound as there are fewer in circulation. JS3's and 5's seem to be the only thing to really cross the $9k mark.

I just arranged them by type, but I do own the second down because I liked it alot ;)

DNA's and EVO's have certainly crossed that mark.
