the problem is that i removed all parts (even pickup wires of the switch) for repainting the guitar.
and also i would like change the pickups: Seymour Duncan (i think that it has different color wires) TB4 & Dimarzio Fast Track 2.

(sorry my english)

I will try to make the circuit but it will be very difficult for me (i think that even for a luthier) ;)

if people here have other idea or know the real wiring diagram, please you tell me it.

thanks!

saludos.

Greetings. First post here. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but wiring discussion always interests me.

My guitar is also a RG565 from 1991. I did some parts replacing, and in the process I mapped the wiring schematics, since I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet, and I still can't. Hopefully this will help a lot of owners out there.

I've added some minor but very useful mods to the above schematics, which were the addition of the treble bleed capacitor (331) to the volume pot, and the addition of push-pull tone pot to tap one of the coils of the humbuckers. If you want it to be stock, simply cut off the wire that runs from the coil tap switch to the right common terminal of the OTAX side of the pickup selector. Oh, and the DiMarzios didn't come with the guitar.

Sorry for the really late reply. Haven't checked in for a while. Dani, you're welcome. Agent540, you're right, my mistake. I had a FRED in it. I found it to be too trebly since the guitar already has a lot of sizzle in it (like all maple fretboard equipped guitars do). Right now there's a DP165 Breed Bridge on the bridge, with 250k controls to tame the fizz even further. Before that I also tried Air Zone which was also really nice; slightly less mids and power compared to the Breed, but with more treble and even more bass. The Chopper though, stays where it has always been for the past 7 years.
