Will a Wizard and Wizard II swap and bolt up with out any mods. My goal is to get a Wizard II neck(from a s470dxqm)on a 1993 S540 that currently has the standard Wizard neck. Is this possible?

So then it's possible to swap like a Wizard Prestige neck for a Wizard II neck? I only ask because I really want a good fixed bridge RG but don't have $1000 or $1500 to shell out for one of the Prestige RGA's. I'd love to just buy like an RG321 and swap the neck with a Prestige neck that someone has for sale if it can be done as simply as unscrewing one and putting on the other.

Depends on the neck config but more or less YES!

i can't belive you would want a wizard 2 in place of the original!!!!!!!

i think it would work, if they were both non aanj bolt on and had the same number of frets so iwouldn't mess up the scale or if the neck would hang over into the neck pickup.

I like Wizard IIs also. They're much closer to the JEM profile than the Wizard is. My hands are quite big and the Wizard makes them cramp up.

i have large hands as well, thats why i enjoy the original wizard, things seem a bit more spread out and i like how vertical runs aren't as easily messed up by a lot of roundness.

I dont know, some wizard 2s feel better than others, i like them on the s series guitars but on the rgs i dont like them, i dont know how to explain it, i know that they have the same specs but they still feel different.

I hope it works out for thought, you gotta play what you like i guess.
