Worth upgrading JS700 pickups?

The catalog scan here shows the pickups are S90 pickups. Doesn't seem as though there's too much information on them out there.

Mine is a Korean version. I don't have any other P90 guitars to compare it to. These stock ones sound decent if maybe lacking some warmth. But then again they are single coil P90s, right?

Just curious if anyone got better results upgrading. I have plenty of other humbucker guitars so I want to stay with the P90 sound, just maybe improve it some.

Mine you get a really bad buzz if you use the pickups individually, together it cancels but separate its pretty bad to the point that if there's an overdrive on you can only use in the middle position. My friend said maybe it's wired badly, but I don't know if that's just how these pickups are
No bought it used. I'll have to take it and have someone look at it
I took it to the place, they're gonna copper shield all the cavities. I use 10s on mine. I use 10s on my non locking JS guitars, JS1600, JS6s, JS700. 10s on my 2410 that's in e flat and 9s on all other JS guitars. I have an Ibanez Artstar from the late 90s, I use 11s on that.
