Got a new to me S5521Q Purple Doom prestige, the cosmo finish on the bridge is nearly all gone. Would you replace it, and with what (ie what color/finish)? BTW, I actually like the Gibraltar bridge, not looking to try and fit something else on this.

the cosmo/smoke chrome finish wears off super easy. You can take some McGuire's scratch X or Swirl X and polish the bridge. It will take some of the smoke finish off and polish the chrome.

Straight black hardware would be nice, but you have chrome under there so i'd just go with that and save the money on buying another bridge.

Thanks, I def wouldn't mind having a chrome bridge. You mentioned those products taking off some of the remaining finish, anything that would actually help get it all off?

Steel wool,easy. I have done it many times to take Cosmo back to Chrome.
