I just got back from San Francisco where i tried a 7vwh for the first time. I was blown away, i loved it and couldnt stop playing it, I was probably at the store 2-3 hours playing it and comparing it to other guitars(js1000, charvel evh model). Now all i have to do is sell my Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus (2003 in Wine Red, not aviable any more) and i will have enough money! I am so excited to get my hands on one!

Yeah, I've never liked any of the JS series much, but the Jems really speak to me.
yeah i thought i would really like the JS because I am used to a strat and a frets with a radius, but i just couldn't get enough of the jem : )

i was the same way when i first held and played a 7V. i only took about 15-20 minutes to end up walking out of the store with it. i hope you get one - you'll love it!

I liked the JS a lot, but it's a different guitar. It's more vintage with a modern feel where the Jem is like pure shred ;)
Considering your current axe is a Les Paul - no wonder you like the Jem so much (sorry Gibby fans;) Go get it!!!!!
did you get the 7vwh in the end?
You ok or not? Hopefully you're on medication. This thread was created like two years ago.
:) i know i was just digging around as theres nothing new to reply too, seems a waste all those long gone topics in the past just gathering dust, have to give 'em a shake once in a while :)
Well the purpose of their inevitable expiration is to be used as a research tool when looking up heavily discussed topic. No matter how much you post in them, they are still dead. Same way you would have sex with a dead person to try and revive them 6 months after they died.

That was .... just... gross..., but without sketching an image here, i think we get the idea ;)

Same thing happened to me when I first picked up a JEM... they're really great axes.

I'd rather get my JEM7VWH through a local retailer, UPS, or any other competent shipping or postal authority.
never played one, only got a universe... anyone ever tried different pups in universe?
