I am tremendously interested in purchasing an ibanez jem77fp. I have been searching for one of these guitars for a good amount of time, but i havn't been able to find any in good condition. if possible, i would like one in decent - mint conidition. The year does not matter to me too much. The newer ones have the improved floyd rose as the older ones are battleworn and vintage; win, win to me. well, if anyone is willing to sell one or is able to find one, please feel free to let me know the price. thanks.

Yeah ... just kidding ... I couldn't resist ... sorry :D

I would cut my left hand off before buying anything from Ed Roman Guitars ... lol

I would wait for one to popup here ... or maybe evilbay if you got an itch and the cash to own one quickly.

I have one thing to add about the FP I am searching for. I have been doing some research and I have found that some of the FPs were airbrushed (I did not know this! :p). If this is true, I would like to buy an FP with cloth if possible, but I will resort to the airbrushed axes if needed. Thanks again for your help.

First off - I wouldn't call the new trems improved. I like the oldies;)

Secondly - this is a fairytale dude. All REAL FP's are cloth. DO NOT buy an airbrushed FP as it will be a fake.

Thirdly....keep lookin here often...one will pop up

Fourthly (lol) GOOD LUCK;)

hehe I've been talking with that seller. He isn't very willing to give me a serial let alone other information. someone retracted his/her bid yesterday which is a little sketchy. I'm watching at least 3 from the 'bay atm waiting for the perfect one! I'm not a big evilbay fan for good reason, but i'll see what happens with the other items within the next few days. Thanks for your help!

yes, just be catious with evilbay, because you don't REALLY know what you get until it's in your hands. I tried bidding on a fp on Evilbay, and at the last second after i set a high maxium bid, the guy "just found out" there was more wear then he described. Good luck to you, though!!

Nordhauser i just found a 2003 on Evilbay for $1900. It is a bit pricy, but the 2003's are the best, because you have a better chance in getting a good quality one. If your not ready to spend 1900+ i would wait until the auction is near ending time, and offer him a lower price for it if it doesn't sell. Good luck
