Whats REALLY the diffference between aanj and standard join? is it just personal opinion or what?

i am looking to pickup an ibanez rg model with an original wizard neck. The body can have dings or whatever just as long as the neck is in as good of condition as possible . Must have aanj .

i want to swap necks . I have a usrg30 that i want to put a wizard on and it has an aanj . As far as playablity goes standard and aanj doesn't matter much to me. I feel comfortable with both .
So if anyone has just an ibanez wizard neck that they'd like to sell i am open to that as well.
