Hi everyone. Has been a very, very, VERY, long time since I logged into the forum.

As you see, the matter in question is about Yamaha's Pacifica potentiometer (Pots).

My volume pot aint working so I must change it.

The main question is, What pot should I put?

According to the Pot spec, it says: 15A500K

I readed here (sound.westhost.com/pots.htm) that old codes for pots was:
A = Lineal
C = Log (Audio)

but the "New" code says
B = Lineal
A = Log (Audio)

For my personal experience, since my first guitar (a Washburn X10), the Pacifica has a Log volume pot. Still, I dont really know what it means by "old" (maybe the at the 50's?)

Now the main problem.

The only pots that I can buy (because Im from Argentina, so I have to stuck with a few brands):
Gotoh (mini or standar size).
Dimarzio (EP1201)

What I dont really know is if the Pacifica uses standar or mini pot's size.
I opened the backplate and the pots are kindda small about (1.5cm width / diameter).

If I can Im going to upload some pics of it.

So, those are my doubts about this. Any advice or comment are welcome.

Thanks in advice!

Ofesad.

those seem to be normal-sized pots
the volume pot has to be an Audio(Log) = A
the ton pot could be both A or B(lin), but the most common is B
