My Idol is DBD he is such a great guitarist and i think he would have became the best R.I.P.

My idol is probably Metallica, as a whole band. I just think that over the years they have been constantly the best metal band. I just think they absolutely rule. And if anyone hasnt seen them live.....do yourself a favour and get to a gig. Because there is nothing like it.

I mean, I have seen so many metal bands, Slayer, Megadeth, Motorhead, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, System of a Down, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Black Sabbath. They were all good, but nothing compared to Metallica.

At the Metallica gigs, the atmosphere is just HUGE. And they have been my idols for the last god knows how many years. I think they always will be too!

As for individual guitarists, I would have to say Yngwie, or Paul Gilbert as my idols. But personally I am more of a "band" type person.

Individual guitarists my list is a mile long. Bands that one is a bit more difficult. hmm... Mötley Crüe, Poison, Extreme or Alcatrazz (with Vai) I would say.

I like loads of guitarists, but my main idols are the shredders.

The first great (IMO) guitarist i really knew was Kirk Hammett, and he is probably my main idol.

There are a whole load others, but these are the main ones with the most influence on me:

Vai
Satriani
Kirk Hammett
Paul Gilbert
John Petrucci
