Led Zep

And I hate to admit it, but Michael Jackson's Thriller album was one of my favourite's when I was a kid (showing my age now!!)

Paul Gilbert
Andy Timmons
Mathias Jab
Vivian Campbell (C Major guy lol)
Marty Friedman
Richie Blakmore (Phrygian guy)

I love Mathias Jab lead solo. It is very fierce indeed.

Well, my very first music influence was some guitarist that played in a horrible christian rock band. They played at my dad's church and unfortunately I got dragged along with the rest of my family. I figured I'd be bored to tears. Instead, I just ignored how horrid the music was and found myself just watching the guitar player. Everyone else jumping around and acting like fools listening to the mediocre music. But I just watched him play his LP with gold hardware, his fingers up and down the fretboard. THat's when I decided to play guitar.
I wish I could say it was some well known player, but alas, it's some guitarist that I never knew who influenced me to pick up an axe, and it's that same image that keeps me going.

Other than that, my holy trinity consists of David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton. They keep me going.

My top 5 list with a brief list

I started to play BECAUSE of Slash. What could be cooler for a teenager than Slash playing the solo to November Rain in the desert in that video?

Then, I "Discovered" 80's rock, from Van Halen to Poison, which led me to discover 2 of my main influences: EVH and Vai

Finally, lately I've been into the guitarist/singer type, so Paul Gilbert and Richie Kotzen are always on the cd player.
