No doubt he's a very skilled guitar player and his guitar is pretty sweet-looking as well. Every time I think of him, I have flashbacks of that DVD I saw with him playing along with Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert and it's amazing how freakin' versatile he is and that he could go from playing jazz and blues straight to shreddin' with the best of them.

After seeing him played here, he is slowly rising in my pecking order for my favorite guitarist. Really good player indeed

 

It's a song called Super 70's. You can find it on the cd called That was then this is now. He just released a new cd called Resolution and it is really good. He is definitely an incredible player.

AT is awesome. He's almost that "niche" between Vai and Satch, by that I mean the technique and tone have a "Vai" flavor, but the melodies are more "pleasing to the ear" much like Satriani...

Just my opinion....

 

Cool video and cool song, Andy Timmons is awesome, impressive playing, he doesn't miss a note, his phrasing gives me goosebumps and his tone, I love the sound of that guitar. Thanks for posting the video. 8)

 

I just found him, he's amazing! He would be the best G3 IMO.
