Yeah! That New Michael Amott, "TYRANT" Model "V" Guitar Looks REALLY COOL! Mahogany Body & Mahogany Set Neck Construction with EBONY Fretboard, Cool Inlays Etc! And Most people Don't realize They actually have 3 Models to choose from: The Black & Red Blood,w/Skull Graphic, we've all probably seen, along with Two New "Black & White" Tyrant V Models to Choose from! The New "Swirly Metal" Pickguard Looks pretty cool too!

Also Check out The DEAN Chris Impelitterli Model w/the Spider Web, Looks Like A Extremely Fun Original Kramer-Esque Guitar!, w/ A Super Slick Maple Fretboard! Its Killer Also that These DEAN Chris Imperlitteri Models Have A "Angled" Headstock with More Downward String Pressure Than Other "Strat-Esque Necks" with No Angled, Or "Downward' String Pressure Headstock Design! As Much As Id Love To Own ANY of Those Warren Di Martini Model Charvels, Id Bet This DEAN Chris Imperlittei Model Guitar Guitar would Be Every Bit As COOL, Sustain-Wise, as Those Di Martini Charvels!

Yeah that Eric Peterson Old Skull V Is pretty Sweet as well! This Is Weird, Ive Never Been a fan, that much, of "V" Style Guitars! I mean seeing Bands Like Accept, or Metallica in thier early days with TWO Flying V's on Stage at Once, Is a Killer Experience seldom duplicated! But just the Same, these New Dean V's, BOTH The Eric Peterson & Michael Amott Tyrant V's are making Me Consider Owning/Buying A "V" Style Guitar for the 1st Time in my 27 years Exp!

Another young pain in the @ss trying to impress with either his ability to rebel, or inability to conform. Either way, all he's done is prove how dissimilar he is to the humanoid type creatures we have here. So he'll most likely tire of being alone in his principles and wander over to a kiddie guitarist type forum where they'll love and accept his chosen brand of shenanigans. Or else he'll understand the groove and rhythm we have here at Jemsite and become a good standing member. I actually started out here as a huge pain in the @ss. Most wind up banned and split...

Anyone taking bets? ;)

Metallica in thier early days
By the way, thier is spelled their!

I also had a hard time reading the original post. And most of "Metalbucket's" posts since then. The caps are pretty annoying. As for the Dean XO - I hope I never see Dave Mustaine playing a guitar shaped like that, although I'm sure it's already happened. The only Dean I'd be tempted to buy is the Mustaine "Angel of Deth" - I can't explain it.

Dean pisses me off. With Dean, you get USA signatures or....Chinese guitars. Their USA production models are MIA (get it, MIA can be "Missing in Action" or "Made in America! Gosh I'm clever!) other than a handful of models.

Dean is an artist endorser pimp. Even the majority of their Chinese guitars are signature models. Don't know why they don't go full-out on USA production. Maybe because they don't really bring much to the table outside of signature models other than Gibson clones.

I'm Gonna Add MY 2 Cents Here.....LoL ...this thread is cracking me up! :D

I just picked up a Dean VMNTX used for $179 & I must say that although it is made in China it's a real player!...otherwise I wouldn't have given it a second thought.
I haven't plugged it into my rig yet but it sounded good at the store.
I can't seem to find ANY information on the serial# since apparently only USA-made Deans can be dated by serial#. Anyway I think it's an '08.
Of course it's a toy compared to my 7vwh, older RG's or SRV Strat but I've always wanted a "V" shaped guitar & I figured for $179.??? I could use it for different tunings & generally beat the hell out of it.
I would definitely count this guitar amongst the rankings of the Epi's, LTD's etc. within the same price range.
Check one out; you might just be surprised!
Peace!
