I don't think there's an effective way to classify Ibanez necks. Because the MIJ necks are hand finished there are noticeable differences and measurements on necks of the same name.

Jesse spent a considerable amount of time cataloging the differences in many of his necks. Hopefully he'll come in here and elaborate more on it.

The MAIN differences between neck types are; thickness, width, and fretboard radius. The WizII is "basically" an original wizard with a 400mm radius.

I see thanks! That makes a lot of sense! I have to say I'll probably have to go buy an earlier Jem because I really do like the thicker necks!

If you like them thicker- keep an eye out for Viper and Ultra necks as well.

I like these sharktooth inlays. heck Ibanez has basically stopped making them this year and they are the ibanez signature inlays.

Mine is a 2012 RG2550Z with the Edge Zero II+ZPS.

LOL... dude, you don't own any EZII's. both of your trems are EZ. The EZII's only came on Indo's and dont have the intonation tool.
