I'm trying to identify this Ibanez SA guitar - the serial number is W940730. I can't work out if it's an SA160 or SA260. Any ideas? The seller is asking for CAN$250 - does this sound reasonable and are they decent guitars? Thanks

I was looking at that page. The colours (at least in that picture) for the humbucker surround and headstock are different. That's why I was confused. Oh and the seller say it's a mahogony body.

Almost all. The AH in SA160AH referred to above means ash. See a pic at Ibanez Rules, NAMM link, year=2005.

If the body is mahogany, it also looks similar to an SA1260 but the neck is wrong for that model. Ask if the knobs are recessed.

Most entry level guitars are ash or the like. Looks similar my rx240, color and headstock wise, they match. Thats how Ive been spotting the lower model Ibby's at pawn shops for under 120.00, for all that Ive seen, even in almost new condition. and Ive been pretty spot on. The black version of that I found for 80.00. and it was a 2005-6 model.
