Is this possible without routing? I've read conflicting comments regarding installing a floyd on a strat. Some say there's no need for routing, others say it has to be done. Are the stud widths the same? I'm really digging the style of the Iron maiden strats, and I'd be willing to try the setup if it was possible with no routing. I was thinking of getting a maple warmoth neck for my strat anyway, and if this was possible, I'd just get one with a locking nut and try the floyd . . . or maybe get a cheapo Edge 3 from someone swapping theirs out.
