...yeah, they're just stickers. But I prefer to say custom alternate inlay replacement therapy.

I love the finish of this guitar so much that I thought it deserved a more "J Custom" treatment. I'm actually toying with the idea of replacing them with a genuine pearl inlay one day. Unlikely, but I can dream. Probably more practicle to just pick up a J Custom down the road (far down the road).

These decals actually look quite good in person. they do tend to photograph a bit on the reflective side, however, due to their being foil based. They are razor thin and one has to bear very close inspection to tell that they are not the real deal. I'm quite pleased with them.

Glad you like her. The fit and the feel are both top notch as well, which I suppose is no surprise for a Prestige...

...lol...love it...should be a new acronym here 'CAIRT' ;o) I think the guitar looks stunning! are those the inlays from jockomo? I've tried them on one of my guitars and I thought they looked great and they are so thin you don't even notice them while playing...it is a gorgeous guitar - congrats man!

I've always been one of the guy's to overlook the RGT320 for basically silly reasons. I seriously need to rethink my position. such a beautiful instrument........

 

Wow!! Cracking guitar. Always loved those models above all other Prestiges. Vine looks great on it too, works well and def gives it that JC look!!

 

Love the guitar, have one of them too. But those stickers gotta go. That's way too classy a guitar to deserve stickers on the fretboard.

And, TaR, I completely understand where you're coming from. The journey of this guitar and me relates directly to the CAIRT (nice, Dorian!). I was all set to purchase a 2011 J Custom from Rich. I was number one one the wait list for the JCRG2011-ZGBA when I ran across the instrument you see before you. I was SO taken by it that I simply could not pass it up. Later I crunched the numbers like a mad man to try to bring home the JC as well,by sadly, it just could not be done. So I'll take this moment to publicly apologize to Rich one more time (although he's likely sick of hearing it by now).

Point is my heart told me the Prestige was it... But there was quite a bit of JC love I couldn't ignore. This was my compromise. And I LOVE it! And so has every last person who's seen it! So I respect the purest instincts on this (and frankly, if I didn't have this beauty in hand, I'd likely be one of them), but I think it looks quite nice with the customization.
