Pole piece adjustments

I was wondering if it matters on the typical IBZ/Dimarzio humbucker pickups if I were to adjust the pole pieces. I've had this guitar for 20 years and they were all pretty much flush with the top of the pickup. I've seen videos where people adjust the pole pieces on humbuckers where only one row is adjustable. And I get that you can adjust them to balance the volume/tone across the strings.
But the pickups on my RG-3120 are all flush.

I guess I could start messing with them and test and see if I hear differences, but I figured I'd ask first.

Also, if adjusting them makes a difference, which row? From the videos, I would assume the "outside" rows (row closest to headstock on the neck pickup, and row closest to the bridge on the bridge pickup. But maybe the"inside" rows as well? Or maybe juts leave them alone.

Thanks in advance.

....I forget where I heard of this, but I did it....adjust pole prices to read the same voltage across VOM....did it make a difference? Yes, and no...hardtails..seemed to be more balanced...trems(especially locking)...seemed more forward in upper mids.....probably lunacy to do it this way....but I did.....ha.
