I have the chance to buy one original (black faced) Intellifex for 300 Euros. I don't need a bunch of exoteric effects (although that would be cool, but i wouldn't use them that much). I'm mainly interested in delay, reverb, chorus, just the basics. I'll use it with my ADA MP-1 Classic just to had a little more juice to the sound.

I know it's an old unit, and the G-Major is a very cool unit too (although more expensive). So, do you think that the intellifex is still a good effects device or should i save a little more and buy the G-Major?

I own both of the units, and the TC is a much better all around unit. It's a hell of alot more transparent, much much much quieter unit, and the effects are superior compared to the intellifex.
The G Major is extremely similar to the G Force. It just lacks the EQ's, drives, and the extreme paramater control. I use the G Force in my main rig, and the G Major in several of my backup rigs.
I haven't used the intellifex in several years in a guitar rig.
The G Force is only $450....go for it.

???

You forgot to mention total routing flexibility, better sounding reverbs with a dozen more parameters, intelligent pitch shifting, wah, formant filters, 5-band parametric and ability to create your own kinds of effects by using modifiers to control effect parameters.
