I,m going to have to agree with you on that quote after I got this IbanEd. There's nothing like getting a custom made Jem the way you want it. (but I didn't get a colored case to match it) :lol:

a stripey case would be cool. does his ship with a case?
it would be cool on a hardshell like the UV1000 to actually paint a 1ft band around the case that is striped out ala EVH. it could be clear coated and would be easier to do than trying to stripe out a whole case abd the effect would be similar.

so has someone tried to make a triple neck JEM yet?

For the record, that guitar is probably UNPLAYABLE. I tried building a triple neck, but it was a too long reach to the third neck. I never even finished it. Five necks would be just about impossible.

you are right. even as high up as he is holding it (would be lower when strapped on) he wouldn't be able to reach the bottom neck. it must be for display, just a guess. cool idea but not a practical application for a playable guitar. you wouldn't even be able to sit down with it and play it.

I think you're refering to Chris Woods guitar. I wouldn't have built that in the first place, and if I did, it would definately have a handle (probably about 6 of them so we could all carry it! )

anyway, I cant believe that any of you lot would beat on Chris for making that piece of guitar art ! even if it wasnt guitar art its a helluva piece of joinery that you could use as a very cool table !
